1955 - Rock'n'Roll is king!

In the 1955, rock'n'roll finally broke through and invaded American and British music charts.

The biggest hit of the year was "Rock Around The Clock" by Bill Haley. The single sold more than 20 millions copies to date and became one of the biggest selling singles of all times.

Yet, there was more to come. During the reign of Bill Halley's hit, a young, 20-year old guy called Elvis recorded his first hit - "That's All Right Mama". But that's another story..
